This year the Port Rexton Pride Festival will take place from August 21-24th, 2025!
Port Rexton Pride: AUGUST 21st - 24th
THURSDAY AUGUST 21st
5:00PM - Flag Raising, Kick Off BBQ with Brightside Bistro, and Live Music with Rising Tide Theatre - Port Rexton Brewery (To Gun Hill)
Join us as we kick off Port Rexton Pride 2025 with a bang! We will meet at Port Rexton Brewery and walk to Gun Hill where we will raise the pride flag. The trail is accessible up until the Gun Hill ascent, but all are still welcome to join for the walk.
After the flag raising we will return to the Brewery for our Free BBQ hosted by Brightside Bistro at 6:00pm joined by Joel and Billie of Rising Tide Theatre who will be playing live music. All ages are welcome and encouraged!
In the case of rain the Flag Raising will proceed on Sunday following the Parade. A rain announcement will be made the morning of the event on Port Rexton Pride social media. (All ages. )
8:00pm - Pride Trivia!
Join us for a special edition of Pride Trivia at Port Rexton Brewery! (19+event)
FRIDAY AUGUST 22nd
12:00PM - 1:00PM - Queer Conversations - Fisher's Loft Conference Room
Join us for a casual luncheon where we will hang out, chat about gay stuff, and enjoy each others company! Queer Conversations is a chill low-sensory event for us to mingle and meet new friends! There will be light snacks and beverages provided. (All ages - Dry Event.)
8:00PM - Drag Bingo - Alvin F. Piercey Recreation Room (attached to Town Hall)
PLAY TO WIN! We'll be hooting and hollering our way through a game of Bingo at the Port Rexton Rec Hall hosted by, They Call Her Söur, Herpaghonna, and Stella Starlit! Participants are asked to bring their own blotters and bevs. First bingo card is free and every one after $5 each. Blotters will also be available for purchase at the door. (All Ages.)
SATURDAY AUGUST 23rd
11:00AM - 1:00PM - Crafternoon with Union House Arts Cecil R. Piercey Memorial Park (Community Rink)
Come join us for a hands on workshop with Union House Arts Artists as they teach us how to DIY our own printmaking methods to create homemade patches that you can adorn your clothing with! All materials are included. (All ages - Dry Event.)
2:00 - 4:00PM - Dodgeball Tournament - Bishop White School
Get into team-player mode in a fun and friendly competition of Dodgeball at Bishop White School! Participants will be split into two teams, the last one standing is the winner! Games will be done in rounds. (All ages - Dry Event.)
4:00PM - 7:00PM - Pancake Supper - Alvin F. Piercey Recreation Room (attached to Town Hall)
Join the CLB for a tasty pancake dinner at the Port Rexton Rec Hall! Participants will be able to join each other for a sweet and syrupy meal with fruit and other toppings for your own taste! (All ages - Dry Event.)
9:00PM - QUEERPROM 2.0: Thelma and Louise - Port Rexton Brewery
IT'S BACK! After high demand and a thirst for some nostalgia, we're taking on Queerprom 2.0! Thelma and Louise will be joining us for round 2 of big party vibes and celebration. Dress up or dress down, whatever makes you feel the most you! It's sure to be a blast! (19+)

11:00AM - Coffee and Tea - Two Whales Coffee Shop
Pop into Two Whales Coffee for some pre-parade prep of coffee and treats! Come wearing your best pride regalia! Port Rexton Pride will have flags, buttons, and other merch available to walk with! All ages!
12:00PM - Pride Parade - Two Whales
Our Pride Parade will start at Two Whales Coffee for us to walk up to Port Rexton Brewery! Bring your pride spirit and make lots of noise as we celebrate our small town with BIG pride!
1PM - 3:00pm - Live Music with Hannah Green- Port Rexton Brewery
Hang out and celebrate the end of our festival at Port Rexton Brewery! There will be live music, beer, and grilled cheese! What better way to end off the weekend? See you there! All ages.
ONGOING WEEKEND EVENTS
Capture the Flag (Prizes to be won) - Pride flags will be hidden throughout Port Rexton over the weekend, whoever finds the most and returns them to Port Rexton Brewery between 1-3pm on Sunday will be the winner! All ages can participate.
